Job Description
Provide nursing care under general supervision to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex.
- Manage an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data; intervene as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care and communicate care plans to patients and families.
- Inform patients and families about hospital procedures.
- Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
Work Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Set day off
- On-call required 2-3 days per month
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
