Minimum Qualifications
<ul><li>Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program.</li><li>Active Illinois PTA license required to start the assignment.</li><li>BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.</li><li>Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred.</li><li>Experience with high-skilled, fast-turnaround skilled caseloads and with long-term care resident populations preferred.</li><li>Ability to manage a mixed caseload and prioritize discharge-focused skilled therapy.</li></ul>
 
Assignment Details
<ul><li>Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.</li><li>Shift: Days.</li><li>Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.</li><li>Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8.</li><li>Float requirement: Split assignment between two facilities in the same city, approximately 15 minutes apart.</li><li>Assignment length: 13 weeks.</li></ul>

For weekend options, Matthiessen State Park is about 15–20 minutes away with additional trails and waterfalls. Commuting is convenient via I-80 and nearby US- routes, and regional rail and bus connections are available within the county for local transit access.
