Schedule

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Intermediate Care experience within the last year
• 2 years of experience in Intermediate Care
• One completed travel assignment
• Ventilator/Tracheostomy experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU experience
• Trauma Level II experience
• EPIC charting experience

Unit Details

• 36-bed medical-surgical intermediate care unit
• Heavy telemetry
• Typical patient mix includes stable/weaning vents and trachs, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Typical patient ratio: 4:1

Work Expectations

• Float to other inpatient units as needed, typically to higher-acuity units
• Must be able to work independently, manage change well, and complete tasks in a timely manner

Additional Notes

• Contract may be low-censused in 4-hour increments, including being asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• Scrub color: any color
• Flu/COVID vaccine declinations require masking at all times during flu season
