Job Opportunity: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Missoula, Montana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily with pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Facility includes a Level 3 NICU, is a teaching hospital, and is Joint Commission Accredited.
- Patient population: Pediatric primary, adult secondary.
- Unit includes Med/Surg and Pediatric Outpatient Pediatric Trauma.
- Typical patient load outpatient: 8-10 patients per day.
- EHR system: Cerner.
- Float to Med Surg/Acute units as census allows.
- No weekend or call requirements.
- Shift: Days, 32 guaranteed hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Occupational Therapist license in Montana
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience within the last year
- Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree
- Current BLS certification
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and acute care settings
Additional Information
- Common diagnoses/treatments include developmental and congenital conditions.
- Flexible personality fit preferred.
- Dress code: No open-toe shoes or denim.
