Location: Lafayette, Indiana

Position Details

Role: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Number of Openings: 2
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: On-call rotation with 3 technologists
Call Requirements: Yes
Required Certifications: ARRT-NM or CNMT
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 225
Patient Load (Daily Average):
- 8 Nuclear Medicine Hearts
- 8 PET exams
- 4 General Nuclear Medicine exams
Equipment:
- Siemens PET
- Siemens Gamma Camera
- D-SPECT Cardiac
EMR System: EPIC

Required Skills and Experience

Ability to perform all general nuclear medicine exams, cardiac exams, and PET/CT exams
Preferred: Experience with Siemens PET and Gamma Camera

Patient Population

Inpatient (INPP)
Outpatient (OP)
Some Emergency Department (ED) requests for nuclear medicine exams

Personality Fit

Proficient technologist
Motivated to work in a team atmosphere
Timely completion of requested imaging exams

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Charcoal Grey
Unacceptable Attire: Hair of unnatural color

Contract Length

Approximately 26 weeks (about 6 months)
