Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - OR (Travel Position)

Job Description

• Role: CVOR Tech (CST/OR)
• Must have 2+ years of CVOR Tech experience (including Epic system experience).
• Special equipment experience required with:

  • ECMO
  • IABP
  • Maze Ablation
  • DaVinci Robot
• Traveler will float to Main OR for Vascular and Thoracic cases as needed.
• On-call shifts: 12-13 shifts within a 4-week period, which may include weekends and holidays.

Schedule

• Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4x10-hour shifts) with rotating days off per week.
• Weekend and holiday on-call required.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 495
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• EMR System: Epic
• Equipment: ECMO, IABP, Maze Ablation, DaVinci Robot

Required Qualifications

• Valid CVOR Technologist license in Virginia (Temporary License acceptable while VA License is pending)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NBSTSA certification
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of Scrub Tech experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system.

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Scrub color is Ciel Blue; must adhere to facility dress code policy.
• Must include work experience as CVOR Tech and status of VA License with application.

Notes for Healthcare Workers

• This is a travel contract position with a duration of approximately 3 months.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• The role involves working with advanced surgical equipment and floating between specialized OR units.
• On-call availability including weekends and holidays is mandatory.
