Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 5 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Services Cath Lab / EP Lab
Number of Beds: 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
Shift: Day shift only (07:00 - 17:30), 4 x 10-hour shifts
Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:1
Equipment: Cath/EP Lab equipment
Documentation System: Meditech
Call Requirements: 8-12 call shifts per month, including 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

Typical Procedures

Cardiac Catheterization (diagnostic and PCI)
Watchman/LAAO procedures
Electrophysiology studies and Ablation
Device Implants

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification

Additional Preferences

Proficiency in Cath/EP lab procedures
Ability to function well independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Dress Code

Surgical scrubs provided (scrub color specified)
