Travel RN Opportunity – Obstetrics (LDRP Unit)

Location: Perryville, Missouri
Facility Type: Level III Critical Access Hospital, 24-bed acute care with ER, surgery, birthing center, outpatient services

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Obstetrics
• Unit: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
• Shift: Night (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed (3x12 hour shifts), occasional overtime available but no 48-hour requests
• Weekend Hours: Minimal, only to cover core staff PTO
• Call Requirements: None
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • BLS (required)
  • ACLS (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years, with strong labor and delivery background
• Skills:

  • Must have BLS, NRP, strong labor experience
  • Preferred: Labor & Delivery, ACLS, fetal monitoring
• Float: As needed within scope; no medical unit patient assignments

Unit Information

• Beds: 7 total rooms (including 2 labor rooms)
• Patient Ratios: 2 nurses per shift; approximately 8 deliveries per month
• EMR System: EPIC
• Equipment: Typical for obstetrics unit

• Comfortable working in a small, close-knit setting
• Facility-issued scrubs required
