Position Details

Unit Information

- Number of Beds: 34
- Patient Ratios: 6:1
- Staffing: Unit Secretary available during dayshift; Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) on all shifts
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling:
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Floating Policy: May float to other departments based on need
- Certifications of Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center
Requirements
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in nursing specialty (Med/Surg)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs required
- Unit Environment: Includes unit secretaries and PCT support; scheduling includes weekend shifts; floating may be required
- Technology/Equipment: Standard Meditech documentation system
