Number of Beds: 30
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Staffing: Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Case Management
Equipment Used: Walkers, IV pumps, Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs), etc.
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule; included in holiday rotation
Floating Policy: Rotation with other staff
Patient Experience Goal: 72% utilization of communication boards

Required Qualifications

Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical-Surgical nursing
Advanced Skills: Experience with respiratory diseases/illnesses, renal disease, gastrointestinal illnesses/diseases, telemetry, central venous catheters (CVCs), indwelling catheters, heparin drips, and other related procedures
Soft Skills: Teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills

Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
