Role Summary

The RN provides direct and indirect care in a therapeutic environment for residents across long-term care and rehabilitation units.
The role may involve care for residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia, short-term skilled nursing and rehab patients, and long-term care residents.

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Maine
Long Term Care (2 years of experience)
Long Term Care experience within the last year

Preferred

1–3 years of previous RN experience
Medical terminology
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work well within a team of care providers
Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
Flexibility to float to other units as needed

Additional Notes

Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
Previous employees are not accepted.
Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
The assignment may be canceled up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
