Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Vermont
• Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or postgraduate Occupational Therapy Certification program

Preferred Experience

• Home health experience preferred

Role Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, and treat patients
• Assess functional ability
• Provide direct treatments
• Select therapeutic modalities
• Communicate with the health care team
• Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives
• Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures

Work Environment

• Average patient visit is over 60 minutes
• Broad independence with support from a cohesive patient-care team
