Assignment Details

• 13-week contract
• No RTO will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract
• 40-hour shift work with call when appropriate
• Floating to other units/departments
• Dress code: personal scrubs, healthcare professional attire

Required Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist (3 years of experience)
• Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience with general ultrasound
• Experience with abdominal ultrasound
• Experience with fetal ultrasound
• Experience with vascular ultrasound
• Competency in neonatal ultrasound including congenital anomalies and neonatal head imaging
• Competency in superficial structures ultrasound including breast, thyroid, scrotum, and focal masses
• Competency in ultrasound-guided procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative guidance
• Vascular Technologist experience
• Vascular Sonographer experience

• Abdomen: Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, Renal; normal and pathology
• GYN: breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, pelvis; pathology and normal, post-menopausal, transvaginal, adult and pediatric
• OB: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester; amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profile, gestational age, placental grading, abnormalities, IGUR, uterus/adnexa
• Aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative procedures
• Neonatal: congenital anomalies and neonatal head
• Superficial structures: abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum & testes, thyroid
• Vascular: carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex
