Registered Nurse (Med Surg GCU) - Travel Assignment

Location

Kearney, Nebraska

Contract Details

Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts (0600-1830 or 1800-0630)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Cannot request more than 1 holiday off during contract (typically May-Sept and Nov-Jan)
Floating: First to float to PCU for a Med-Surg Unit assignment unless telemetry trained
Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts every 6 weeks
Patient Ratios: Maximum 1:6; Day shift Monday-Friday typically 1:5
Unit Size: 23 beds

Job Description

General Med-Surg assignment including orthopedic, neurological, and spine patients
Hospital located in central Nebraska

Required Certifications

BLS (AHA or ARC)
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Required Experience
