Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health - Night Shift

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM


Job Description

  • Provide behavioral health nursing care during night shifts.
  • Must be available to work June 11 - June 12 as part of the assignment.

Required Qualifications

Licensure

  • Valid RN license confirmed via Nursys.

Certifications

  • BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
  • DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention)

Exams and Testing (must score 80% or higher)

  • Basic Pharmacology Exam
  • Specialty Exam (Behavioral Health)
  • Core Competencies Exam

Health and Immunizations

  • COVID-19: 2 vaccines plus booster or documented declination
  • MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B: Record of 3 immunizations, immune titer, or declination
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season or declination
  • Varicella: Vaccination or immunity titer
  • Tdap: Required (declinations not accepted in some states)
  • TB Test: Within 1 year of start date
  • Annual TB Questionnaire
  • Fit Test: Annual respirator fit test completed prior to start

Background and Verification

  • National criminal background check within 1 year of start date (some state-specific exceptions apply)
  • Prime Education Verification (diploma or transcripts accepted if third-party verification unavailable)
  • Social Security Card or Passport
  • Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
  • Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation)
  • Resume reflecting recent and accurate work history
  • Two professional references (one must be from a manager or direct supervisor)
  • Signed current job description (within the year)
  • Badge photo (clear headshot, JPEG format)
