Overview

Temp assignment in Des Moines, Iowa
Days shift
13-week contract
24-bed unit
Patient ratio: 4-5:1
Patient types include med surg care, overflow post-op surgical hips/knees, and possible Psych overflow
Tele tech unit monitoring is remote
Traveler will float across all campuses

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Iowa
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Experience with Epic
Experience in Charge roles
Driver's License
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred

Experience caring for psych patients
Precept experience
Reference/check from within the last 24 months
Ability and willingness to extend past the initial 13-week contract
