Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Shift

Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity

Job Responsibilities

Provide patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:5
Perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring
Document using the Epic electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing, with experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
