Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM)
Call Requirements: One 12-hour shift per month on a weekend (Saturday or Sunday), either 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (2 weekends per month)
Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 5 days off with no more than 2 consecutive days; no time off allowed on or adjacent to holidays or weekends
Floating: Mandatory floating within scope of practice as needed by the facility
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in the Operating Room (OR)
At least 1 year of trauma experience, with trauma experience within the last year
Strong scrub and circulate skills
Experience in Orthopedics, Vascular Surgery, Urology, and General Surgery
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
