Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge experience

Unit Details

• Typical med/surg tele unit
• Patients are mostly elderly and include respiratory, cardiac, GI, and neuro diagnoses
• Ortho patients may overflow to the unit
• Care delivery model uses teams of 1 RN, 1 LPN, and 1 PCT for up to 9 patients
• Modified teams are used when complete teams are not available

• Scrubs: navy blue and white, any combination of those colors
