Assignment Details

13-week contract
Day shift, 4x12 hours
48 hours per week
Weekend coverage every other weekend
Float required to sister units
Local candidates are not accepted; must live more than 50 miles away
First-time travelers are accepted

17 rooms
30 beds
Ratios: days 1:5, nights 1:6
Unit can take medical-surgical/telemetry or PCU patients
Prioritizes candidates who are PCU trained
Certified Stroke Center

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of telemetry experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic
