Key Job Details
- Emergency Department role with a high volume of admitted patients and ED holding.
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Floating may include Peds ED, Adult PCUs, ED Holding, and Trauma as needed.
- Weekend scheduling is as needed.
- Block scheduling is not available.
- On-call is not required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Level I trauma experience
- Travel experience is strongly preferred
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Christmas time-off requests are not allowed
- Must work 2 of the 3 holiday bundles listed in the source
- RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
- No locals within 100 miles
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
- Fit mask clearance within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire
- Negative drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or documentation required year-round
- COVID vaccine is optional
- Fingerprinting required onsite during orientation
- Background check required
- Education verification required
- Employment application with at least 3 years of work history

- Cerner training attestation may apply
Additional Notes
- New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks
- OT applies after 48 hours on contracts signed on or after 10/30/2025
- 6-month break required after 4 consecutive assignments or reaching one year, whichever comes first
