Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- AART
- CRT

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver routine and specialized radiation treatments according to the physician’s treatment plan
- Perform radiation therapy and simulation procedures for patients under treatment
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including documenting readings and reporting needed adjustments or repairs
- Assist physicians with radiation therapy and simulation procedures
- Educate patients about procedures and help reduce fear and anxiety
- Complete clerical documentation, including patient records, screening forms, consent forms, and exam charges
- Maintain radiation safety standards and a clean, safe work environment
- Inspect, calibrate, and record quality control results for equipment
