Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
• Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• AART
• CRT

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver routine and specialized radiation treatments according to the physician’s treatment plan
• Perform radiation therapy and simulation procedures for patients under treatment
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including documenting readings and reporting needed adjustments or repairs
• Assist physicians with radiation therapy and simulation procedures
• Educate patients about procedures and help reduce fear and anxiety
• Complete clerical documentation, including patient records, screening forms, consent forms, and exam charges
• Maintain radiation safety standards and a clean, safe work environment
• Inspect, calibrate, and record quality control results for equipment
