Overview

Travel/Contract role in Utica, New York
Specialty: Surgical Services
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
On-call: minimum 7 days per month, including 5 weeknights and at least 1 weekend
Holiday coverage: must be able to work either the eve or day of Christmas and New Year’s

Required Qualifications

CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NBSTSA
Experience working with Cardiothoracic patients
Experience with open heart surgery including valve, bypass, ablation, and ECMO procedures
Experience with femoral cannulation
Experience with Impella insertion
Experience with balloon pump insertion
Experience with carotid endarterectomy
Experience with port-a-cath insertion
Experience with general and vascular surgical cases

Preferred Qualifications

General and vascular experience
Experience with carotid endarterectomy and port a cath insertion
