Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Details
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facilities
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Local Radius Rule: Must live more than 75 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
- Pending State License: Not accepted
- Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 5 days allowed
- Charting System: Epic
Required Certifications & Licenses
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN Intermediate (Electronic Fetal Monitoring for Labor & Delivery RNs)
Documentation & Compliance Requirements
Identification & Address Verification
- Current and valid Driver’s License or State-issued ID
- Utility bill in traveler’s name with matching address dated within last 3 months
- Address must be greater than 75 miles from contracted facility
Background Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, OFAC sanctions list searches within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Fingerprinting may be required depending on facility
- Education verification of highest level completed (diplomas, degrees; certificates not accepted)
- State-specific searches as applicable
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year, signed by Physician, PA, or NP confirming good health and no physical limitations
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- TB questionnaire updated annually
- Immunizations or titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (vaccination series, positive titer, or declination with annual renewal)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (Tdap mandatory for certain units)
- Hepatitis A (for Pediatric/PICU and specific campuses)
- Seasonal Flu vaccine (required annually with exemptions allowed for medical/religious)
- COVID-19 vaccine documentation or declination accepted
Drug Testing
- Negative 10-panel drug screen including marijuana (required within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)
- Facility receives federal funding; positive marijuana results may lead to cancellation depending on unit
Competency & Skills Requirements
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (100% passing score, updated annually)
- Color Blind Testing within 60 days prior to start
- Unit-specific competency exams with minimum passing scores, updated annually
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (90% passing score, updated annually) for specified units
- Core competency exams (Parts I, II, III) covering safety, ethics, patient rights, and workplace violence, updated annually
- Behavioral competency exam for behavioral health units as applicable
- Skills checklist updated annually and aligned with competency exams
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Patient Care Orientation Class (Skills) mandatory for all RNs
- EPIC training required if no EPIC experience within last 12 months
- Fit testing for N95 masks completed onsite within 1 year of start
- Emergency Severity Index (ESI) certification required for ER nurses prior to start
- Vehicle information form must be completed prior to start
- Various policy acknowledgments and agreements (Ethical Business Conduct, Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace, Information Access, Oklahoma Offender Registration, Responsibilities and Rights) required prior to start

- 2 references from former direct supervisors (one within 1 year, one within 3 years)
- Updated resume covering last 7 years of employment with explanations for gaps over 30 days
- 10-year work history verification including international positions
- Skills checklist and employment application must be current and accurate
This position requires strict adherence to all credentialing, health, and compliance documentation prior to start. Candidates must be prepared for floating assignments and night shifts.
