Endoscopy RN

Overview

  • Travel/contract RN role in Saint Louis, Missouri
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift: 5x8s, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • No call, weekends, or holidays
  • May occasionally work a late shift if needed
  • Primary setting is pre-op and post-op recovery for a busy GI lab
  • May float within the service line
  • Average daily census: 60 patients

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
  • Endoscopy experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • Procedure monitoring experience
  • Experience recovering monitored anesthesia care (MAC) sedation
  • ACLS
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • PACU or ED experience
  • GI knowledge
  • Outpatient endoscopy center experience
  • Pre/post-procedure experience

Clinical Systems

  • EPIC charting experience required

Additional Notes

  • Scrub color: navy blue
  • Parking is available for an additional cost
