Outpatient Operations Pharmacist

Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

• Work in the Outpatient Pharmacy Department, managing daily operations including staffing, workflow, and compliance.
• Serve as a front-line pharmacist providing comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients.
• Act as liaison between staff and supervisor, providing technical and administrative guidance to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians/trainees, pharmacy aides, and pharmacy billers.
• May require working rotational shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license in Arizona.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BS-Pharm) degree with a minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience.
• Pharmacist experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Work Schedule

• Shift: 7 days on / 7 days off
• Hours: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40

Housing

• Limited housing options available.
• Shared housing units at $600 per month, subject to availability.
• No family members or pets allowed per facility policy.

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
• COVID and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted after submitting a declination form.
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date.
