Physical Therapist (PT) - Illinois

Job Details

• Location: Macomb, Illinois
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours per Week: 40 (options for 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour shifts, or a mixture)
• Care Settings: Primarily outpatient with some inpatient weekend rotation or coverage if outpatient volume is low
• Patient Load: Varies daily based on census and scheduled hours
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Weekend rotation every 6 weeks; holidays as needed
• Dress Code: Black scrubs or black collared shirt with khaki pants
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation provided

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Physical Therapist license
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Experience: Strong orthopedic skills required; pediatric experience highly preferred
• Skills: Generalist PT skills aligned with basic physical therapy education; ability to manage common diagnoses such as CVA, orthopedic conditions (hip/knee/ankle/shoulder/back/neck), and vestibular disorders
