Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Contract

• 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide speech therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Treat approximately 7-8 patients per day in outpatient or a combination of 4 outpatient and 3-4 inpatient patients.
• Common patient diagnoses include post-concussion, CVA (stroke), TBI, head and neck cancer.
• Work at an acute inpatient Level 2 Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
• Responsibilities include independent bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up, communication evaluations and follow-up, and outpatient standardized test administration.
• Potential to float to nearby facilities.

Schedule

• Dayshift: Tuesday through Saturday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• No weekend or holiday requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Active Washington State SLP license
• CCC-SLP certification (CCC-A not accepted)
• BLS certification
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Additional Information

• Department-specific orientation provided
• Dress code: dark blue or black scrubs (scrub top or other top with scrub pants acceptable)
• Candidates must not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with certain affiliated health systems within the past year
