Role

Travel contract Med Surg RN, nights.

Schedule

• 13 weeks
• 3x12-hour shifts, 7p-7a
• Some weekends
• 36 hours per week
• Start ASAP

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Med Surg experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Preferred

• Tele experience
• Basic tele

Unit Details

• 39 beds
• 24 MS/tele beds
• Patient ratio: 1:6

Float Scope

• First to float to Med Surg units within traveler’s scope of practice

Additional Notes

• Opening is being proactively posted for a likely backfill; candidates will not be submitted until the backfill need is confirmed.
• No acutely cardiac patients; mainly pacemakers, monitoring, potassium levels, etc.
• Scrubs: royal blue, not provided
• Hospital may call off 1 shift for every 4 weeks worked
• Charting system: Meditech
• Medication system: McKesson
