Medical Technologist (MLT) - Night Shift

Location: Dodge City, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Position: Medical Technologist (MLT)
• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Hours per week: 36 hours
• Schedule includes weekends and holidays
• No call or standby requirements
• Department: Generalist night shift in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Occasional phlebotomy (venipuncture) required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Generalist MLT
• Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via AMT or Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via A (acceptable certifications)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Must be able to work in a generalist role covering multiple lab areas
• Valid driver’s license required (radius of 60 miles for travel)

Orientation & Training

• One week of department-specific orientation (first week)
• Orientation scheduled during night shift hours (7 PM – 7 AM) including weekends
• Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week, even if some modules are remote

Systems & Equipment

• Experience with EPIC Beaker Laboratory Information System (LIS) required

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Scrubs required
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling available

• Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager
• Rare phlebotomy duties may be assigned
