Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification from AHA
NIHSS certification from AHA
1 year of experience
1 prior travel assignment
Must live outside a 75-mile radius from the hospital based on the address on the driver’s license

Schedule

Every other weekend
Holidays as needed

Unit Details

44 beds
Typical staffing ratio: 1:5; may be 1:6 on days and nights
Nurse aides/CNAs are available
Floating may be required to all acute care and cardio areas, or to the emergency center for acute care patient holds
Telemetry is monitored on a different unit

Orientation

1 week of general orientation, including EMR training
2 days of floor-specific orientation

Additional Notes
