Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - OR (Travel Position)

Unit Information

• Department: Cardiovascular Surgery (CVOR)
• Shift: Weekday shifts, 7 AM to 5 PM
• Call Requirements: 1 night shift per week (call only)
• Weekends: No weekends required
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Team Structure:

  • Day Shift: Teams of 3 (2 RNs & 1 CST) per case + 1 emergency standby team
  • Night Shift: Teams of 3 (2 RNs & 1 CST) per case (call only)
• Equipment: Stryker, GE
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification
• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Cardiovascular Surgery (CV Surgery)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Typical Procedures

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repair
• Valve Replacement
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
