Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother/Baby
Unit: Mother/Baby Nursing (24 beds)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
On-Call: None

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Mother & Baby nursing
Travel Experience: Must have completed at least two travel assignments
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA only)
- Virginia State or Compact Nursing License
EMR: Epic experience required
Patient Ratio: 1:4 couplets (mother and newborn)
Float: Not required
Dress Code: Navy scrubs, per facility dress code policy
