Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care Float (1 year of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
- CCU - Coronary Care experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Experience Preferences
- Level I trauma center experience
- Experience floating to a variety of ICUs
Unit / Patient Care Setting
- Must be comfortable and competent caring for ICU patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
Other Requirements
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Competency test required within 24 hours of submission
