Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
2 years of CVOR experience
CVOR experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with ECMO
Experience with Impella
Experience with Maze procedures
Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

CNOR
Cardiac surgery experience

Assignment Details

Travel RN role in Surgical Services
2 openings
36 guaranteed hours per week
13-week contract
2 CVOR rooms
1:1 patient ratio
Adults only

Schedule

Days, 4x10s
Cardiac cases: 6:15a–5:15p
Non-Cardiac cases: 6:45a
On-call includes weekends and holidays
On-call rotation: 12–15 days, including 1–2 weekends depending on schedule rotation

Float Scope

May float to vascular, thoracic, and tacs cases if no scheduled heart cases
