Overview

• Travel assignment in Lake Charles, Louisiana
• Full-time
• Swing shift: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS
• CST
• Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience working with Neurosurgery patients
• Experience working with Orthopedics patients
• Experience working with General Surgery patients
• Experience working with Podiatry patients
• Experience working with Urinary patients
• Experience in Neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry and urology
• Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas including but not limited to: Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, Robotics

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience
• Experience in Neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, and urology
• Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas, including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, and Robotics

Unit / Case Mix

• Neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, and urology
• No CV

Schedule / Call

• One call weekend per month

Floating

• Not expected right now, but could potentially float to Lake Area

Additional Notes

• Most days involve no more than 4 cases
• Hospital laundered scrubs are provided
