Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Travel Opportunity
Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Work Days: Weekdays only, no call, no weekends
Job Summary
Seeking a Maternal Fetal Monitoring (MFM) Ultrasound Technologist with experience in fetal cardiac scanning and obstetrics. The role involves performing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scans, fetal echocardiograms, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and amniocentesis procedures.
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Number of Beds: 12
- Staff: 21 total (12 sonographers on day shift)
- Patient Ratio: 6-8 patients per sonographer
- Equipment: GE Voluson E22, GE Voluson E10
- EMR System: Viewpoint
- Permanent positions available on unit
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- ARRT (S) certification
- ARDMS certification
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Fetal echocardiogram certification
- Nuchal translucency and nasal bone certification
- Experience scanning fetal cardiac anatomy
