MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Assignment)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM, Weekends Off)

Unit Information

• MRI Department with 3 MRI units
• Staff: 3 techs on day shift (1st floor), 2 techs on night shift (3rd floor)
• Patient volume: Average 32 MRI exams per day (March data)
• Equipment: GE MRI machines, including 2 new GE Artist machines
• EMR system: Meditech / CPN
• Work environment: Busy department with strong teamwork and experienced staff

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 6 months (0.5 years) of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (MR) Certification
• BLS Certification
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE MRI equipment
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Critical care experience

Typical Procedures

• Administer contrast agents
• Operate MRI scanners to produce high contrast images
