Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other week (EOW)
Hours per week: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care primarily in the ICU with floating responsibilities to Stepdown and Medical-Surgical (MS) units.
• Patient ratio typically 1:2 in ICU and 1:3-4 in Stepdown.
• Call required but rarely needed.
• Work involves a mix of ICU, Stepdown, and some MS overflow patients.
• Unit size: 16 beds.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.
• Scrub color: Royal Blue.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience
• Stepdown unit experience
• At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience within the last year
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Additional Information

• Floating to Stepdown and MS departments is required.
• Must be available for holidays, including at least one Winter holiday.
• Blocked scheduling and 48-hour weekly guarantees may be requested.
• Maximum return to office (RTO) time: 1 week.
