Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)

Location

Tucson, Arizona

Position Details

Travel assignment
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3/12-hour shifts)
Schedule includes 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Float pool position requiring flexibility to work across multiple departments and facilities within the region
Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner

Job Description

Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
Apply critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with Cerner EMR system

Approximately 36 hours per week
