Registered Nurse - Home Health
Location: Asheville, North Carolina (Franklin/Macon County area)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a home health setting with patient visits in Franklin/Macon County.
- Call requirements: every 6-7 weeks for one week at night (5pm-8am) including that weekend. No night visits from the office.
- Patient load: approximately 5-6 patients per day.
- Scheduling: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
- Documentation system used: HCHB.
- Dress code: Nursing scrubs in navy blue or navy/white.
- Must have a reliable vehicle for patient visits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Home Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in a Home Health setting
- Hospice nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
- Baxter Sigma Spectrum Pump Training
Additional Information
- Unit serves approximately 100 patients.
- Home health environment with support from unit secretaries and techs.
- Candidates with hospice experience are preferred.
- No advanced procedures or special equipment required.
- Business casual attire for therapy staff (not applicable for RN role).

- This role involves travel to patient homes, so reliable transportation is essential.
- Night call is infrequent but required on a rotating basis.
- The position offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekend day shifts except during call weeks.
