Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - Operating Room (OR)

Work Schedule

Day shift
36 hours per week
Call required with a maximum 30-minute response time

Unit Information

Main OR with 23 operating rooms
Staff includes approximately 70 team members
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment: Operating Room specialized equipment
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech / CPN
Elective surgical cases only (no trauma)
Procedures include Orthopedics/Spine, Cardiovascular, General Surgery, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology
Teamwork-oriented environment with a focus on patient care
Flexible personality fit preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or NBSTA certification required
DORA certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Orthopedics/Spine and Cardiovascular procedures
