Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
• Stroke experience
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• NIHSS
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• NURSYS report
• Resume including travel experience
• RTO must be included at time of submission

Unit Clinical Context

• Common diagnoses include stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Specialty equipment includes IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes

• NIHSS is required for this unit and can be obtained prior to start
• EPIC is listed as the EMR experience
