Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Malvern, PA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility recover or improve daily living skills after injury, illness, or disability. This opportunity offers clinical variety and the chance to support interdisciplinary care in a long-term care environment.
 
Minimum Requirements
<ul><li>Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.</li><li>Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.</li><li>Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.</li><li>Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated competency with documentation systems used in skilled nursing facilities and experience completing evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.</li></ul>
 
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Experience with ADL retraining, cognitive rehabilitation, and assistive device recommendations in geriatric populations.</li><li>Previous travel therapy experience preferred but not required.</li><li>Prior experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in post-acute care preferred.</li></ul>
 
Assignment Details
<ul><li>Shift Hours: 08:30–16:30.</li><li>Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week.</li></ul>

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing setting. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions for ADLs and mobility, recommending adaptive equipment, and documenting progress. Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support safe discharges and improved functional outcomes.
