Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Summit, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied Health
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Evening (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 3 shifts per week (including some weekends and holidays)

Job Description

Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices.
Support requests for durable medical equipment (DME) such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers.
Assist in training patients on inhaler use.
Set up patients with DME equipment.
Collaborate closely with physicians.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including hospital, physician office, or clinic settings within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
