Registered Nurse (RN) - OR CWR

Overview

• Operating room RN role caring for veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Responsible for nursing assessment, documentation, care planning, clinical intervention, and evaluating patient responses.
• Also assigns and evaluates work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room.
• 13-week contract.
• Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 3 x 12.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holidays required as needed.
• On-call after 90 days.
• Float requirement: to ASC as needed.
• Scrubs provided.

Required Qualifications

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Level I Trauma experience.
• Must do endovascular, spine, neuro, ortho, and ortho trauma.
• BLS - AHA.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• ASN.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrub experience.
• ACLS - AHA.
• PALS.
• BSN.
