Overview

• Role: Radiology Technologist
• Location: Golden, Colorado
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4 x 9-hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (R)

Preferred Qualifications

• CT certified

Job Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and diagnostic X-ray procedures
• Operate X-Ray imaging and related equipment
• Educate, position, and immobilize patients for X-Ray procedures
• Coordinate X-Ray examinations to support timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care
• Follow provider imaging orders correctly
• Submit required images and related clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation
• Evaluate image quality
• Communicate with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership
• Use, charge, and maintain department supplies
• Practice sterile technique and follow infection prevention policies
• Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Safely perform X-Ray procedures, including patient transfer
• Prepare and administer contrast according to Radiologist protocol
• Follow Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA)
• Supervise and evaluate Student Radiographers in the clinical setting
