Registered Nurse — PCU

Location

Contract

14 weeks
36 hours per week
12-hour night shifts
Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse license
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Telemetry competency
Driver’s license required at submittal
Must be outside 50 miles from the facility
Cannot be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity

Unit Details

4th Floor East Wing
55 beds
Adult patients; pediatric patients are rare and are age 15 or older when present
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 on days and nights
Nursing assistant support available
Charge nurse available
Additional support includes educator, care managers, social workers, dieticians, PT, and OT

Additional Notes

Pass/fail open-book exam during orientation; a score of 90% is required to pass
Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
Floating may be required, ideally to medical-surgical areas, based on highest need
