Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Work Type: Full Time

Job Summary

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures.
Support other imaging technologists as needed to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance activities.
Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems (PACS).
Flexibility to work other shifts and/or at other campuses as required.
Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advancements within licensure scope.
Maintain expected imaging competencies and align behavior and communication with organizational values.

Responsibilities

Adhere to core competencies and organizational values.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability in all duties.
Collaborate with management, coworkers, and physicians to promote staff growth and physician satisfaction.
Adapt patient assessment and care methods to meet unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs.
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Perform examinations and procedures to assist patient throughput within licensure and competency scope.
Ensure exams are correctly scanned and stored in PACS; follow PACS downtime procedures as a superuser and escalate issues appropriately.
Report equipment malfunctions and follow up as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in New Mexico
Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

Weekend and on-call availability required.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
