Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Location: Odessa, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 3 months

Job Description

Work in a clinic setting (not hospital-based) with a focus on Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) clinic skills.
Typical shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute mandatory lunch.
Call requirement: 1 week every 4-6 weeks.
Responsibilities include assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, performing various patient tests, and administering medications within the scope of practice.
Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Requires creativity and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Reports to a clinic leader or physician.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year.
Two years or more of total travel experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Associate's degree required.
Experience working in a clinic setting.

Additional Information

No local candidates will be accepted.
Facility operates on a pay-when-paid basis (vendors paid after facility payment).
